I have been having a problem with speakerphone conversations on 3015ip voip phones at times cutting in and out, if the customer picks up the handset it works great, internal speakerphone calls are good, only speakerphone calls to an outside number will randomly have problems (about 1 out of 20 calls)all outside calls are digital threw a pri, ???? , any ideas, thanks

I am going to guess band width issue or you have not had the TVsE software upgraded or both. What system software? and what is the TVsE software level?

tvse 3.43 p2 card running off a cisco 3560-48ps poe switch running directly to the tvse card, no data is running on this switch, strictly 8 voip phones only all within 200 feet of the switch, running cat6e for cable all certified and tested by the vendor the system software is e2e 3.10 on a S1000

There is a software update available for the TVsE 3.46 and with it comes a update for the 3015IP phones 77 to U7. With all of this I am sure you have a Telrad Dealer servicing this have them get the software and the chip for the TVsE. And while their at it a 3.12 chipset for the memory cartridge couldnt hurt.

update 3.12 is yet not available for the s1000, even that it is advertised, telrad advised me "soon", I seen the upgrade file for 3.46 on there ftp site, not sure what "chip" will be needed for the tvse card. just been threw to many telrad "just put this update in and call me back " that ended up fixing nothing (I lived threw release 7 beta), thats why i come here to see if any other techs have been threw this, but hay, whats one more update, and i did see that the 3.12 was to bring the conference bridge up to 50 members so that alone might make it worth it

I know 3.12 for the 1000 has been available for over a month because I upgraded one of my customers with the chip set last month. You will need a 2.7 TVsE chip to go to 3.46. From you post I cant figure out if you are a end user servicing you own system or a Certified Telrad Tech working for a Dealer. I had speaker phone issues at a remote location but after changing the OS on the sonicwall no problems since. I know you posted the cables were perfect but have you tried putting a phone on right at the switch and testing it. One other thing came to mind I don't think the 3015IP phones are full duplex speaker phones, maybe your picking up back ground noise??? As for the I lived threw release 7 beta your talking 10 years ago with the release of a brand new phone and cards. And if you were a Beta site your company was warned there will be changes. I have a 1000 E2E3 Beta that has had 0 issues. Infact I turned it over to one of the guys from this site to take care of the MAC orders.

well,I am a certified tech working for a dealer. and calling telrad customer service last week they advised that e2e 3.11 was available and 3.12 will be out soon, now that was the answer i got from telradusa in new york last week. and yes it was a beta site and we were warned but it turned out to be more alfa, we had engineers flown in from Isreal to look at this and could not fix it. and as for issues with e2e3 the system speed dial problems have never been fixed, so im not to sure about 0 problems

Jmalez get your TVSE to 3.46, (if you were 3.43 you should have 2.7 chip, You can check it through maintances) and I don't know if the s1000 3.13 is available yet but it is for the IPEX and MPD2's. I would think 3.12 is avaible for the s1000 if 3.13 is out for the other system. Who was the engineer that telrad flew in?

I will get you his name, cant remember at this moment, tall, thin, heavy accent and a funny round hat on his head. working with there customer service now to get the upgrades and to see if they are willing to demo a ipicasso, see if that has any better speakerphone on it, there ad states full duplex. working with the customer the problem comes down to that the range of the ip speakerphone is only 3 - 4 feet where before the customer could be talking 8 - 10 feet across the room and it would pick the voice up. second problem is that one of the clients are on conference calls that last 2 - 3 hours, most of the time they have the phone on mute and are just listening, but after 5 minutes the call gets choppy and disconects, i have not personaly seen this, I will next monday at 1pm , as I am invited to see this on her next conference call. and every once in awhile the speakerphone call gets choppy, but on the handset nobody has ever had an issue, the plantronics wireless headsets also seem to work great with them
