Proprietary phones wont work on old kxta 624 system. Only SLTs will work. Cant reset or default because nothing comes up on display. Plugged directly into ports of KSU. Nothing. Is system shot?

SRD, The only thing I can suggest is to make certain you have a new, 2 pair line cord. There is nothing in the programming that could limit the unit to SLT only. ------------------ MrG

A short circuit on the second pair of any station will knock out all PITS phones on an 8-port card. You might want to check this by unplugging all station connectors and letting the KSU "cool off" for about an hour. While you are waiting, check for shorts on the station wiring of each station cable run on the second pair.

Yes, ext. 103 was causing the problem, I disconnected station, then I had to reset system and everything came back up, working fine. Thank you again everyone.
