When I pick up the receiver (22 button non-display) and touch an outgoing line button, the receiver rings busy. When I put a 22 button display phon on that extension (205) and try to get an outside line - the display states "Restricted" and rings busy.
I am also confused as to the jargon with this system COS - ? FF- I assume they are the function keys on the top of the handset (and in order)
Thanks - Mark

COS = Class Of Service Your FF keys are as follows
FF7 FF8 FF9 FF10 * # FFI FF2 FF3 FF4 FF5 FF6 These are the first two rows over the key pad

Okay - I have located the port# (22) the COS is coming up as 0 (zero). I tried the extension and I still have no luck. Can I copy another extensions settings (without turning that ext off)??
Thanks - Mark

If your system is using the default 2digit station numbers then your port will be 13=station 22.

I believe the system is using a three digit station # - I went through the programming mode and found port#22 labeled as ext# 205.

Then that tells me that they are not going by the default 3 digit stations numbering which would be 100-123. The COS 0 means they have access to all features so I would think it should work. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you are programming the correct port. There is no copy mode that I know of. You may have to check the COS on a station that's works and then give the same COS to the station in question.

Okay, I went through the functions for two different stations (104 and the one that is Restricted 205) The settings from 02-51 (the station's settings) are identical except for 003 "Used BLF Port#". From the Attendant settings for this station(205) are: The COS is Zero I chanegs the Station LockOut to 1111
Then I went to the station (205) I tried function 74
The phone still shows restricted every time I hit the On/Off key

There must be some kind of line assignments restricted to that station.
I did find a copy program. FF9 2# (source port 1-24)# (target port 1-24)##
See if that clears it up.
