Have a CICS system with Flash VM/AA. Intermittant problem where calls presented to system, get a partial ring, then disconnect. There are 3 COT. System works OK when tech on site. Customer can't tell which trunk calls are on.

Could the CO be the problem ?

The VM is answering all the time? I'm sure not clear how this is happening, maybe you can be just a bit more specific.

If the calls are coming in a hunt group from the CO, it would always be ringing on the first line if not occupied and they could see that, NO?

Has anyone complained about having been disconnected and having to call back?

Check each line yourself.

The VM (DRT to Prime) is set to 4 rings. All of my test calls ring 4 times then get the AA. I have tested all 3 lines multiple times. There is a CO hunt group.

The problem is always gone by the time they call me and I get to the site.

I have asked that they log the time and line, but they can't seem to tell. They do get a lot of complaints from caller saying they have been disconnected.

Willing to bet there is a corrosion problem inside or out as this sounds like a ring-trip to me.

Better question to them is about the weather. Check the D-Mark connection & field connections.
