Look if this is a 218 or 319 there is a global call forwarding command - other than that on the old analogs there is a specific feature for call forwarding busy - no answer -which takes care of both conditions - you can not enter them separately. Get into programming and look at feature access code 46 - should be able to dial that code and the forwarding destination (which in this case is going to be a speed dial location. If you then go to check on the console to make sure the forwarding is done it will not show an ext number instead it will show ext (for external - which may be a bit confusing) >Likewise if you dial the number from the console (or superset if there is one) when the ringing times out or if the extension is busy it will flip over to say EXT on the display.

Good luck - the toughest thing may be finding out what the forwarding speed call number is. You need to get into extended programming and utilize the correct console overlay. Other than that I assume you know what people dial to retrieve messages so if the original programmer was any good it might be near the same - say if they dial retrieval code of 55 you might try dialing 56 or 57, etc and see if you hit the voice mail (you will get different message than when you retrieve. At that point you can test forward on ext and then dial it to see if you get the correct "leave message" recording. If you do then just set the forwarding up on the rest of the exts.
