I am looking for a phone system with 2 lines input (Analog). It should be capable to transfer / forward (unattended) one in coming call to any of at least 10 programmable telephone numbers using the second telephone line connected to that phone. Incoming caller should be able to select from option 1 to 10 to dial any of the ten programmed numbers. Telephone dials the selected number using the second line and connected both lines once dialing is completed.

Please note that I need that service at the location where Centrex service is not available from local phone company so I would like to have a system or phone which can provide same Centrex service itself by using two simple analog or digital lines connected to it.

I asked similar question in Panasonic and Toshiba Forum and came up with Panasonice tda 50, ta 848, tva 50 OR Toshiba CTX100 systems but those systems are out of my range.. Any idea of any less expensive system capable to doing what I am looking for.
Thanx.

If you had a system with DISA (direct inward system access) a person could call in and get system intercom dial tone, from there they could use a speed dial access code to call the other party(s). Would this accomplish your objective?

I see you have posted this in several forums. I think it would be helpful to describe the actual use you have in mind. I know trucking companies use this type of service to allow drivers to call an 800 number and connect to their families at the company's expense, while they travel. Is this the kind of thing you want to do?

Mark,
Thanks. I need the above system to connect two telephone lines. One from VOIP and other from local phone company. That system will be located oversease where call from US and Canada are very expensive and same is true for call from overseas to US. So the whole purpose is to use VOIP line oversease to call from US to there and from there to US.
We need to connected those two lines with some kind of auto (unsupervised) conference system to make calls in both directions.

Person from US will call on VOIP number and once call will be through, he / she should be able to dial or select local number to dial using local line. In case of local person, he / she would call local number and once call is thru, he /she should be able to dial / select US number using VOIP line.
Make sense ?

One more addition to above comments.. We currently don't have any system installed. We are looking for something to accomplish what is explained above.

If I'm understanding you, a DISA really sounds like a good choice as Mark mentioned. However you said less expensive. I guess that's a relative term. Less expensive than what? One of the colored boxes the phreakers build used to accomplish that but I don't think it would be a solution for an overseas corporation. I think it was the "gold box."

Maybe Ed, OBTW, or some of the other seasoned Telco guys could give you some input on some kind of a "Dial Around Loop" through the CO.

We primarliy use conference bridges at my company.

Why not simply use VOIP FXO/FSX boxes?

I agree with Coral. You don't need a system at all. Get a Vonage (or similar service) and send the box to your company overseas.
