my customer has an sbx and it drops calls in the afternoon at one station. i replaced the phone a month or so ago but it still drops. i changed the port today. doesnt seem to drop in the mornings. we are in calif where it doesnt get real cold and right now not real hot. nothing else plugged into power outlet but they do have some big machines in the shop. anyone else had this happen.

Yes, and it's likely a corrupt extension number. I know it sounds crazy, but something attaches itself to the number itself, not the hardware. I've seen this with the STS as well. Will the customer let you give this extension a different number?
