I have to agree with PVJ. The phone business is a very competitive market when it comes to service and maintaining. If we do not customize passwords for our sake of business, then we can lose the business to someone else.
As for the password resets, if you do the defaulting correctly and/or upgrade the phone system's software, yes the passwords will default. Have done this myself plenty of times. The IP address doesn't change but everything else does.
If you think that the officeserv is a cheap or not business enough system, then I don't know what to tell you. Honestly it's one of the better and easier ones to work with in my opinion.
