they where created because there was a demand for them the manufacturers are in business to make products they can sell just because its on the market doesn't mean its the proper solutin

we are in business to give the customer the best solution . Ethernet between bldg on copper is not a good practice and exposes the LAN to risk

crimp tools and 8p8c plugs are sold at every distributor and lots of cables are terminated that way but that doesn't make it a good practice the question could certainly be asked "if crimping plugs on the cable directly is bad why are plugs and crimp tools sold ? "
