Well, I got ProComm installed today and tried the direct connect method (green=2; yellow=3; red=5) but it didn't work, so I tried the TRANSFER-99 method, and I got in (I think) but the screen filled with gibberish so I couldn't respond. I tried some other ProComm settings but nothing came out as readable.
I had ProComm set at 9600,8-N-1 TVI950 emulation Seems like Zmodem came up as default protocol, but also tried ASCII which didn't work any better. Also not sure if I should 'Enable Command Mode'
Anyhow, I think I'm getting close. I sure wish it would speak to me in English! Guess I need to hit Esc after I Transfer to 99?
I'll try slowing down the baud rate to see if the gibberish clears up, and try TVI920 emulation to see if this helps.
Thanks for the tips!
