From time to time, the auto attendant on 7100 with mp10a does not recognize the dialed extension number.This happens even when land lines are used to dial in. It's not limited to any specific extension.Did any one run into or encounter a similar problem. if so, what was the remedy. Many thanks.

Check your mmc758 to see if its notconflicting with the plan you set for mmc 507

I don't seem to find mmc758.All I get is reorder tone.we may not have mmc758 in N.America?What's mmc 758?

MMC758 is VM day/Night

Its in IT Tool 2.1.6

I have vm day/night as mmc744 on v4.53c.In any case, to clarify my issue, the vm/auto attendant does answer.The problem is that from time to time it seems that it doesn't recognize the DTMF digits. I say that because it'll say that is an invalid user while other times it'll transfer the call to the extension.

How is your AA programmed?

Do the trunks go direct into the VM? or do they go via a virtual/stn group?

Yes. The trunks are terminated direct onto AA in mmc406.

I haven't.So I can't say what digits are seen or recieved by AA.I do know that it happens.Doesn't happen all the time.But it seems the AA does not recognize the digits.
