With the release of communicator, softphone is no longer being developed.
There is a version of communicator being developed for the Galaxy S at least (it exists in korea) they are working on a client which included messenger.
I have a version of softphone for pda which works on the OMNIA icon (windows mobile), though it doesn't work properly with bluetooth headsets
