Hi,
My system is a CIX1200 with 7 cabinets. In this system, I have 5 RSTU cards within 2 cabinets.
Since a reboot for maintenance, all analog phones no longer ring. They receive the call, but it looks like the "ring generator" does not work. (is there a ring generator? I'm from the Nortel world.)
Also, when we leave a voicemail on a analog line, there is no more stutter dial tone or "clacking sound" from the system.
Note: the maintenance was done because our A / C is dead for 3 or 4 days.
Thanks for your help

Check the circuit breakers on the power supplies on all the cabinets. They are the little white pegs next to the green voltage led's, when you press them in you might feel it click as it resets it and then try the SLT extensions again.

Thanks guys, Carlos#1, All the little white pegs looks okay. I didn't feel any click. Steve, my reset buttons look okay too. All the "P.F." lights are off. What should I look at? Anymore ideas? ---- Patrick

Probably not the problem here, but in two cases I have had unexplained things happening with CIX, finding that the CPU was not fully seated in the backplane.

The ring generator is built on the RSTU analog card if I am not mistaken.
I would try another RSTU card, it is possible something has damaged all 5 of them. Or pull the cards out, reseat them and push the white buttons on the power supplies that have the RSTU cards in those cabinets.
If you have a friendly tech, try one of those RSTU cards in a system that tech has.
I always put a 1/1,000,000,000th of a second surge protector on a system as the cheap surge protectors would let cards get fried and while some Toshiba cards may not fry, others could.

Hot swapping is NOT supported on the Toshiba systems
We have all done it without any issues but you do hear stories from people who have blown up CPU's and PSU's.

Thanks everyone. Here what i have done: - reseated the CPU : nothing changed. - reseated all the 5 RSTU : nothing changed - tried a BSTU from another system : nothing changed ...but I did not test the RSTU in the other system. >:-( Another thing, since the A/C failure, sometime my system loses its connection with the two other CIX670 and the PRI. I do not know if this can be related? My provider tested the PRI from the telecom room to the CO and it looks all good for them.
