Calls transfered to a group such as a calling group. End up back at the Operator after 4 rings. So, ex 10's mailbox answers and says.... You have reached the receptionist please leave a message? R5 has Limitations. Mans ability to go back to the moon has limitations.
What does happen is that the call is answers by ex. 10. All voice mails either dump you or let you leave a message in this case at ex 10. At 10 you could tell them to dial * 8 and group or ex no. to try again.
Each case scenario is different and the type of business you are in and the number of lines can give me insight to the traffic expectations in regards to a VS5 and your expectations of it's call answering service. A Movie theater and a florist shop can both use a VS 5. with completely two different programing applications.

So, on the ACS side we can program a calling group,not a hunt group(which is what we have now)then one of the members in the calling group can be a mailbox?

With Partner Messaging yes. You have a Mail VS.

Ah. So our only choice is the hunt group, which just rings and rings. This is what I wrote down when we were there.
