I'm deducing that since he said that he could "Login as admin, press 9, press 3", "When I get past the '3' the announments is '4'", we're talking Merlin or Partner Mail or Messaging

It is Merlin Legend and the paper work I have "say" Communications System Release 5.0. The Merlin Mail guide has release 3 on the cover.

1. Dial into voice mail.
2. Dial System Administrator's extension number and # (default is 9997).
3. Dial the first System Administrator's password and #.
4. Dial 9 for the Administration menu.
5. Dial second System Administrator's password and #.
6. Dial 3 for Automated Attendant. If using multiple Auto Attendants, you must then dial the Attendant number (1-3).
7. Dial 1 for Day Menu or dial 2 for Night Menu.
Dial 2 to play the menu
Dial 6 to modify the menu.
8. Dial *# two times.
9. Wait for the tone and record your message.
10. Dial 1 when finished recording.
Press 23 to play back.
Press 21 to re-record.
Press *3 to delete.
11. Press *# to approve.
12. Press **9 to exit voice mail system

That looks like what I need and I was able to listen to the "old" one. When (soon I hope) management decides what change to make I will be able to get to the right place. I will post the results. Thank You!
