Hi new too this forum any help would be greatly appreciated,
I'm working on an Avaya Partner ACS ver 6.0 with 5 slot cabinet. Main processor and 4 206E modules.
I added a new 206E module to add additional co lines, the lines are available on all handsets and can receive calls but can't call out. line 8 has the same issue in a 206E module that was already in the system.
CO lines: 10
lines 1 - 7 work fine.
lines 8-10 receive calls but can't make outgoing calls.
So far I have checked all the settings from ext 10, there are no restrictions, the lines are set as tone / pulse.
I connected one of the new lines to port 7 to verify the ability to dial out and it works fine, all lines can dial out from my handset at the 110 block.
When trying to call out the dial tone does not interrupt. it returns after each number is pressed.
I couldn't find any reference to co line settings in the manuals.
thanks, Carmen

You checked #302, 307, 401?
Probably the easiest way around this is to just default the system and re-program. Doesn't sound like you would have much to do.

All lines ring to all extensions, three lines won't dial out. The dial tone does not break on key presses.

Did you do the basic troubleshooting of swapping CO-7 through 10 with CO-1 through 3 to determine if the issue is with the Partner system or the telco?
Have you swapped the old and the new 206 modules to determine if it is associated with the modules?
Do you have a PC card in the ACS? If so, back up the current configuration to the PC card, and then do a factory default. Now with all lines assigned to all extensions, and no restrictions, what happens? You can always do a restore to get back the original settings.

You probably don't have the lines assigned to the extensions

You probably don't have the lines assigned to the extensions That doesn't make sense because he can receive calls on those lines on those extensions. The lines are assigned to buttons but outgoing calls are blocked. Sometimes the software gets corrupted and does strange things like this. Time to default and start from scratch. -Hal
