i think it was for the expension cabinet. Because someone unpluged it some time back and half the lines were not working. so im pretty sure it has something to do with m12x0.. also the light on 12x0 is red as opposed to being green.

if you have a lite that means you dont need the power supply

i understand, but it is a nortel part. i cant believe that noone ever seen it. someone, at some point had to instal one.
