could that be a centex phone? They look similar or identical to the meridian set (M2000) If a business has put a line in his house that might be what it is. If thats the case then your sol, the only option i would think is the cordless headset. Maybe you can get your company to flip the bill.

found this on the web it says its a 18 button digital phone, must be old? https://www.surplusmaster.com/pic/tele/M2018.jpg
in this case it is a regular digital phone, there are some cordless options for meridian but all are expensive, i still think the cordless headset is the best option.
gn netcom makes a 900mhz headset. Used them before they work well and have a manual hookswitch unit so you can answer the phone from the headset.

a analog line would be better for a regular cordless phone, it would probably be cheaper for your co. but you lose some of the features you get with a digital phone. A cordless headset would still work.

these guys sell wireless hetsets, but they are expensive.

To have a cordless phone you need a ATA
analogue terminal adapter fitted at the system.2 wires from the extn port to the ATA
then two wires to your extn which can be a
cordless phone. In the UK I have found that not all cordless phones work with the Norstar. I have not tried the cordless headset. hope this helps
