I am trying to get SMDR data from a Samsung OS7100 using hyperterminal. Have set up laptop as receiving PC in MMC 829 on default port 10020. Unable to connect using hyperterminal or telnet. Current status in MMC829 shows OFF. I guess I'm missing something basic. Any help you could give would be appreciated. Thanks!

The printer IP should be the same as the PABX IP and make sure to UPDATE LAN in MMC 829, then on your PC hyperterm settings the port for SMDR is 5100. Recheck IP addresses if they are in the same subnet and the PABX cable connection to the LAN

Thanks so much! Didn't realize about the printer IP being the PABX IP.
