Hello, I have an Intertel Axxess 9.1 system, and the admin phone shows a SYS ALARM #101. When I clear it, it comes back with 5 seconds every time.
How do I find out what this alarm code means?
I have the Inter-Tel Service Manager, and a Intertel Diagnostics Monitor, however neither are configured. I see there is an option to E-mail, so how would I configure it to do that so I'm aware of any problems with the system?
Thank you in advance!

Alarm 101 is a station lock-out due to excessive data errors. You can pull an error log and figure out which circuit is bad. It could be a bad jack, cable, keyset, or (rarely) a bad card.
Diagnostic Monitor is simple. Open the utility, click on Message Print and enter the CPC IP address. Alarms will be shown without pulling the error log.
Service Manager is tricky – there’s no way I can describe how to configure it. If you can find or download a manual, it’s worth the effort. It took me days to get mine configured properly, but the email alerts are great.
Unfortunately, Inter-Tel never gave this product the support it deserves.

Thanks, I figured out that the COM port was wrong, it was sharing it with the SMDR Monitor for TAPit. I changed it and seems to be working. Then I found out which phone was having the problem once hte logs started generating. Thanks DND ON!
