Having trouble connecting my xp laptop to a esi 50L
I using esi system program 1.2.14.29
This is the same pc i use for older esi and vodavi so i know my connecting cable etc work.

Baud rate is 112500 ( or is it 115200 ) Dam it, 6 months retired and I Can't remember
one way of finding out if your cable is any good, hook everything up and reset the system, if you see gobbly gook,,, at least you
know it's communicating
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Do you know what the software level is? Some of the older ones you could only connect to at 38400. Also I would go to a telephone and verify that your password is what you think it is by pressing the PROG + HOLD and see if you can get logged in.

Are you Sure it's a 50 ? ESI made Many ( mostly All ) different systems in the Same cabinet ...
