Customer has a TDE200 with an automatic day/night schedule where all calls ring 400 in day mode (8:30-5:30, M-F). In the off hours, they ring group 511 which is forwarded to an off-premises answering service. That part has been working well for quite some time.

Now, the customer wants this automatic schedule to also apply to certain holidays. I've entered all of the dates into the system's holiday schedule, but I can't see how to tie this into the weekly schedule. I thought this had something to do with tenant programming, but I'm drawing a blank. Any suggestions?

Ed,
So you want the holiday schedule to run on certain weekends?

Kevin:

No, they want the weekends to always run in the night mode, which currently happens automatically by using the weekly schedule programming. IN ADDITION to this, they want about six other days to run in the night mode, which I have entered into the holiday table with start/stop dates.

I know that I can easily address this through the holiday schedule on their TVA-200, but that seems to be an awkward work-around.

In the PBX 10.2 DIL table set break mode to be the same as night mode.
In 2.5 Holiday table set all holidays to Break mode.

After posting my reply, I realized you could just set the PBX holiday table to just night mode.(default)

Kevin: Thanks for your replies. I should have clarified that the main number is a DID on their PRI, so I'm not sure that the DIL table settings would apply in this scenario. To clarify, the main DID number rings 400 in the day mode and 511 in night.

I don't see how this would be the solution since the DIL table applies to individual CO lines (or PRI channels). How would the settings in this table know which DID number is to follow the holiday schedule?

The whole system switches to the same mode when holidays is on. It switches from midnight to midnight of date setup for

If you want different numbers to go to different places in this mode, let’s say break mode, if not being used and set ddi table( or dil, works the same) and put the destination for each line/number to ring where you want too. If you just want all numbers to do what they do at night , set it into night mode
