Customer has had a SL1100 for a few years. One phone is not in any IRG's. They have added a new trunk that is to appear and ring only to that one phone.
If the phone is in use or busy on any other call, internal or external, they want a caller to the new trunk to go to a separate voice mailbox that only appears on that one phone.
The new trunk appears on a key so the user can select that line for outgoing calls for that business. I've set the trunk to DIL to the phone.
To send callers to that trunk to it's own voicemail, I could call forward the phone to a VE on no answer, with the VE's mailbox appearing on an in-skin voicemail key on the phone. But how to specify which mailbox for only that trunk? And what about CFBsy? If the call is forwarded, I want it to go to the VE's mailbox, not the user's regular mailbox.
Thank you. Jim

Try using 47-10 and 47-11. Send the trunk to a separate answer table, then set the default mailbox type to station mailbox and specify the VE's mailbox number.

You may need to set the trunk to normal, place the extension in a separate ring group and have it overflow to the inmail. Then 47-10 will come into play. Another option is to use a virtual on a button with an inmail coverage key. have the trunk DIL to the virtual, then CF B/NA to the inmail.

Having the trunk DIL to a VE on the phone sounds good. That will allow me to program CF Busy and NA, when the VE is busy or no answer, but what about when the user's regular extension is busy on a transferred call or an intercom call? If I CF the regular extension, then regular callers, etc. will go to the VE's mailbox. Don't want that. Regular calls should go to user's regular mailbox, Callers from the new trunk should go to the VE's mailbox.
I'll be on site tomorrow and try some of this.

What you want to do is easy. There are multiple ways to make it happen. What was given should work.

If your DIL'ing th trunk to the VE and then Timeout to the VM the Trunk will go to the VE mailbox
Any call going to the extension via transfer or transfer from VM will go to the extension VM

Mission accomplished. I put the new trunk into it's own IRG with an appearance on the phone. No answer destination to answer table 2 and a VE with InMail key on the phone.
Thanks for your help everyone.
