We currently have a CIX670. Is it possible to send an area code on outgoing Caller ID other than the default area code? Would it be possible if we moved off our current PRI to SIP Trunking? This looks to be a limitation on the phone system itself (It automatically appends the default area code for that OLG on every number).
Thanks!

For the outgoing caller ID you have 2 fields per OLG, you have the default 10 digit number, and then you have the default area code that is appended to the 7 digit caller ID associated with an extensions's caller ID. You probably already knew this.
You can not have additional area codes for an OLG. You can create additional OLGs for a PRI or SIP trunks, but it gets pretty complicated. I have done this when some people want to show a phone number of another location, for example they can show a New York phone number when calling from an LA number.
It is possible, but as I said, it can get complicated. You need to create new OLGs, then setup Call by Call, and then create new LCR tables.
