I have an older TDA50 with TVA 50 VM. I was upgrading the TVA and they asked for this:

6 of 9 phones have line 8 and they would prefer it to ring as well.
All extensions are set to CFBNA to VM
They want line 8 calls to only go to ext. 120’s VM.

I DIL’d trunk 8 to ICD group 605 in all time frames
I set ICD 605 for all 6 members. 5 with no ring but immediate to 120.
Calls from the outside aren’t picked up anywhere?

Should I try setting up another service group for a separate VM trunk group in the TVA instead?

If the call is pointed to a group and intercepted to voicemail it will go to mailbox of the group number

The only way is to point it to extension 104 intercept to the group to ring other phones then have that group intercept to mailbox. It will send it to ext 104 mailbox

So I need to DIL to ext. 120 and overflow to group 605 with a short timer?

Calls then go start as owned by 120 first, ring to the group and return to the 120 box. Am I following correctly?

Yes if you intercept the group to vm as well
