Here is the back story. I have 5930 ip phones and when a incoming call comes in with the caller id it is logged in the "call log". If I look in that log and want to call a number the system will dial 10 digit phone number (605-343-1386) for example. I want it not to dial the area code as my local telephone co. doesn't allow 10 digit dialing for local numbers. What do I do?
By the way, Is the Iwatsu ECS still a current system? I am looking for a ix-appsrv card if anyone has one.

If you are using Optimized Routing for your outgoing calls, you can have the system strip off the area code in programming.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
