I am installing two Valcom V1030C bullhorns on a DSX 80. The bullhorns are in, I have them wired to the power supply. Putting my toner on the voice pair I hear the warble from the speakers very loudly. I cannot however get any sound from the audio out jack. I made page buttons on all the phones. All extensions have full paging capability in CoS. I read that when a page is initiated it opens the audio out too. Nothing is coming out. Am I missing something? I am plugged into the very rear-most jack on the CPU card. Do I need the 2PGDAD?

You have to be using a code that includes External Paging. Go through the Display-- lift handset Press Page (softkey) press ALL. The plug must be just the right size and Mono. If it has more than 1 black line around the tip it's a Stereo.

Ahhh, that must be it. I robbed it from an old set of PC speakers. Thanks.
