Hey Guys
I have a 2-part question in regards to SBX
I have only installed three of them so far, so I still have a lot to learn.
Typically I program each station with line appearances starting from button 1-12, buttons 13-24 for DSS. Naturally each set has flexible buttons remaining. The question I have is are those remaining buttons by default easily programmed by the user, or is there some restriction I need to remove to allow them to be programmed easily.
The second question is in regards to headsets. If I obtain a quality 2.5mm headset, I should be able to just program a headset button and when the phone rings, I should be able to answer it by pushing that button; correct? If not, what am I missing? Also if I want to make an outbound call, I should be able to select a line and then push the headset button as well?
I have a customer that is trying to use a Plantronics M175C headset and they are having problems getting it to work. Before I roll on site, I wanted to see if anyone else has any experience with the headset configuration.
thanks again
