Need some information, client has an Intertel-Axxess with the latest and greatest software. We have an IVR using Dialogic 12 port FXO card connected to analog stations from a SLC-16. The ports are programmed to send caller id. We recieve the caller id on all ports, but we have two ports that do not show the caller id all the time (its being sent, using a caller id display to confirm in parallel). The strange thing is that you can call the suspect port no caller id, call the next port you see caller id, then call previous port it shows caller id all of the sudden.

I am leaning towards an electircal problem of some kind (the system was hit by lighting 3 weeks ago). The phone vendor did not replace all the equipment. Addtionally the sight is 1,000 miles away from me with a local Intert-Tel tech not being all that helpfull on site.

Few questions can you regulate the voltage on a per port basis with the SLC-16 (24 or 48 volts)? Can the loop current be adjusted via per port? If half of the ports wired to the SLC-16 have the polarity reversed from the other half of ports, could there be problem with the system having to sense and adjust to polarity reversal in combination of the resource card that supplies the caller id to the SLC-16 ports in the first place?

Any help will be greatly appriciated!

Kindest Reagrds,

Joel Sisko
