I found a single button volume control w/amplifier for my WE 1D2 phone. The volume control is made by AT&T and mounts in the upper housing but I have no instruction sheet for where to connect it to the TT dial.
Anyone can help me? Thanks.

Try THESE people. I believe that they have documentation available.

Perhaps Googling the apparatus code or KS# would turn something up. The BSP handbooks that I have access to do not show that piece of gear. They only show the G12 amplified handset.

I just got out what I thought was a WE volume control and amplifier for a 1D2. It turns out the one I have was made in 6-99 by TEK. It is a small red pc board (PN 412246) with 6 leads (blk, red, Yel,Violet,G,and slate). The connections vary by the model of the dial unit. If this sounds like your board, let me know the dial set and I will send the terminal connections.
Cheers
