Howdy!
Have a customer who we just recently turned on the LCR. They have 20+ lines, but randomly they get "All Lines Busy" message when trying to dial out. We checked the programming and it's the same as another customer we have with the same LCR DB (which is not having the problem). Any ideas?!?
ps. Customer has Eclipse 2.5.1
Thank you in advanced.

Are all of the lines in the same trunk group? Does the Reports A screen note any times when all lines in a particular group are busy? Have you looked at the reports H screen? Is the LCR database the same, but created for another customer that has a different trunk configuration? Mike

No All Lines busy on Report A. and Yes, this is an LCR Db from another site. We just noticed that LCR class was set to 102 (they have Centrex lines), so we just changed it to 100. I guess is a matter of time now.

Scanner, I recently had a similar issue at a customer of ours that used LCR. When they would try to dial a toll free number, they would get a recording saying that "all lines are busy" or "your call did not go thru". This was due to one of the carriers that the LCR routes calls thru was having issues or had changed their 1010 code. Essentially that is all LCR does is put the carrier's 1010 code in front of the call to force it to go thru them. If you are getting a recording telling you this, call your dial tone provider.

Thank you TRM, unfortunately the "All lines busy" message is on the IDS phone display, the call haven't even hit the line because LCR is not giving them the lines. If they press * then the call is routed thru the other service. But my main concern is why are we getting all line busy with available lines on the group?!?!

just curious - no problem with dialing out before LCR install. Are all 20 trunks in trunk group 1? All exts have access to all lines - day and night. How many paths in LCR - all using trunk group 1?
