I am a fairly new ESI Reseller, I have a new customer that has a 128 Plus. They would like to call forward calls directly to their cell phone. I gave them the option to record greeting 2 and have the caller press 4, they would prefer to just program a call forward key that they can set to route call to their cell phones. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

In most cases FWD is used to forward all calls to ext XXX to ring a different ext. but you can also FWD to a remote number. You program the forward destination to be "9 XXX XXXX" instead of a 3 digit ext. You could also set this up in AA where in Day Mode it rings the EXT and in Night it it FWD's to the desired number.
The greeting2-press4 is actually the best as you attempted to teach the customer. Is this a case of customer knows best and you are just trying to please?

I would prefer to setup the fwd using their VMB, but a previous vendor has setup 1 extension to fwd to his cell instead of his VMB. The vendor used a branch id setup with outdial branch then tel #, then put this into the CF-BNA field day and night. They would like to control this with a call forward key.

You might be able to forward to an info mailbox that times out to the ID branch.

I did setup an info box with a 2 seconds of silence then it routes to an outdial branch to a call phone. It works if I dial the info mailbox, but when I forward the extension to info mailbox the phone just rings then forwards to it's own mailbox. I did verify the settings in function 32 for call fwd ext and trunk to trunk.
