I recently upgrade a customer SV9100 CP10 from 8.00.65 to 12.00 everything went fine until the customer wanted to change the username back to the default username and I not sure if this is ok to do or he belies that spell check took over and hit apply.... anyway, we can't get back into phone system
Optus Support is saying that if I downgrade the system the original username will be there
and I am assuming that I have to use the flash drive to do this Just wondering if anyone has heard of this
Thanks!

Where in Oz are you? and what level password are you using? Do you have a backup?
Edited to say, I made an assumption you are in OZ due to it being Optus (An Australian carrier) I may be wrong there.

Are you sure you didn't go to 12.10.50. Just a thought...
Univerge SV9100 CP10 CPU Software Release Notes Date: 03/23/22 Page 1 of 10 Issue A12.10.50 vA12.10.50 – v12100 main software release Note: Please be advised SV9100 CP10 vA12.10.50 includes an undocumented security enhancement. The manufacturer level password is now disabled and cannot be used to log into the system. Make sure you have an Installer level login configured in PRG 90-02 that is not set to Prohibited so you can login to the system. If you have questions, please call NTAC. Again, please check your installer level login before upgrading

Have you tried logging in from a handset as you don't need the username for that, just the password. You can then go and check the username in 90-02
