I am trying to set up our system to use the Outdial feature to notify users when they have a new voicemail.
We have a System 228 with VMS, VMI, MOD4, CA1, DACD and Att.
VX2 is Version 5.0.2
I have things working to a point. I leave a message. The system then tries to call out, but it doesn't look like it accessing an out side line. The IDS System Monitor shows:
ICM STATE CALLER CALLED 01 DlTn 3903
On the VX2 I have the Outbound Call Prefix set to 9*

Try 91 as outbound call prefix, make sure outdial notification is enabled in each vms box, make sure bin numbers has a pause or (,) before the number. also check your nt or notification type. if stil not working look in the pbx options menu and check pbx option, and sli option.
I know this is a lot but I remember there are a lot of different screens that can affect the outdial. Hope this helps

Rick,
91 didn't work but after some thinking I tried 901 and "ta-da" the machine is happy. Thanks for your help.
