Can anyone tell me what the maximum recommended wire distance from a Comdial DXP to a digital station? Also, what's the maximum that someone was able to get to work reliably?
Thanks, Chris

For digital phones:
AWG20=2500ft
AWG22=2000ft
AWG24=1500ft
Yes these are safe distances and it will work on longer runs but each case is different and you will just have to try it.

I have had a DXP powering 23 digitech sets at 4200 feet on airborn 50 pair cable. No problems at all.
As a test before implementing the airborn cable, I took 5 boxes of cat3 4 pair cable (5,000 ft) and chickleted them together, then put 4 sets on the end and then connected to the dxp, everything worked fine even the voicemail. Comdial will tell you they don't support over 1500 feet if my memory serves me right.
