We have a customer that uses analog ports off their Aspire for faxes. They've had some lightning issues and have a problem with one of the ports putting out enough ring voltage to trigger the fax to answer. Since other fax machines are working, can we assume this problem is from the analog card? Or would it be a power supply issue?
As you've heard before...we're not an NEC shop, but are trying to help this customer as there is no Aspire shop anywhere around.
Thanks, Larry

Use a volt meter and check it and swap it with another working fax. If it's lower you found your answer.
