Just in case you didn't know... If you are programming a MINI mail you need a "null modem cable from the Mini mail to the laptop. For the IN Skin Flash you need a "null modem cable from the Vm to the laptop, but for the HDD VM you need a "Straight thru 9 pin cable. What happen to uniformity? Learn thru other people hours of fustration!!

PS: the Mini Mail and STS Flash use the Hyperterminal for connection
The STS HDD uses special Software that comes with each HDD system.
