We are having problems with our Direct extensions only. When we receive a direct call to a phone extension 15xx the scenario seems to be that outside call from numerous area codes will ring once and go directly to voice mail.

Sometimes you will see the incoming call light and your phone will ring then when you pick up to answer it is like no one is there but they will leave a message and you will know you missed a call.

Our sales team seems to experience this all day and my best guess is because they are getting calls from lots of different area codes because it does not seem to happen from local calls or will all calls.

I am very puzzled by this and have never seen such a sporadic problem.
Thanks,
eman

Reset the system. You may have highway issues. Or you may have a DTMF receiver locked up.

Thanks, I forgot to mention that we do reset the system and the problem sometimes seems to get better but comes back.

I am unsure how much time elapses before the issue returns after a reset?

If we are having to reset frequently what else would you recommend.

What are highway issues?

Sounds like an issue with integration. What is the sequence of an in coming call on a DID? eg - DID-PDN-CFNA-VM PilotDN

This never happens on a non DID number, correct?

Yes that is correct is never happens on a non-DID extension.

As far as the sequence I am unsure?

What do you mean by integration?
