Hello any and all telco gurus, since installation, our TD-7684's lose connection after roughly an hour. The problem does not affect 7680's at all and most of our 7684's have since been replaced with the 7680's. It's becoming difficult to find new or refurbished 7680's to replace damaged phones and the 84's still drop connection.
Our system includes: KX-TVA 200 KX-TDA 200 KX-TDA 0152 (3x) KX-TD 7680 (8x) KX-TD7684 (1x) KX-T 7630 all other extensions
Our site does have wireless data access points that are configured to run on channel 9 which our vendor told us would not cause interference. We have verified that the wireless hand-off is occurring normally. The 7684's will lose connection without moving even right beside their cell stations. (During a call or not in use.) This affects all of the 7684's we have tried and none of the 7680's. Our vendor/installers has informed us that there is a firmware problem with the 7684's but can't seem to get ones that work. Is anyone aware of a recall/problem with the 7684's? Or has anyone seen this type of problem before? Thanks in advance for any information or advice on this highly frustrating problem.
