Do the Onyx switchs buffer SMDR data? I have one that will intermittently stop sending data. If you reset the switch, it will send data fine for a week or so. I thinking that the switch might not be clearing the buffer???

Try connecting to the smdr with a pc...go into programing...default is 1200, 8, N, 1....let the menu screen completely scroll to the end...dissconnect the pc and reconnect the smdr....you have to let the menu screen completely scroll to the end before disconnecting the pc....try this...i seem to remember a tech note about that somewhere.
