My dad's company buys a lot from Graybar and I might be able to get the glow rods through them. I already got a tone/probe kit through them so I might as well ask. I also heard that you can go to their counter area and pay cash for what you need instead of having an account.

I did some cabling today for a friend of mine. We used glowrods and all kinds of huge drill bits (in his house). Those glowrods made it so much easier. I could use one for sure at my house, last time I used some Wiremold and threw it across the ceiling. It worked, but not too well.

I want to get that cable crossbow from the sandman.
The key to all T-bar cieling installs is a remote control truck from Radio Shack. If it's got big enough tires, it'll go over anything -- and you can route cable easily over cielings with no problem, and a lot less cieling tiles to pull.

you guys are lucky if you can use the bows and the trucks. We have to suspend everything independantly and secured every 4 feet to meet code.

Yeah, in all senses of the idea -- you should be suspending it regardless of code, as it doesn't exactly play itself off to being easy to work with post installation. Then again, you can always pop a cieling tile in the middle and suspend it there and be rid of the manual labor Pedro?
