As far as testers are concerned, I like the Progressive 468. I've ben building my inventory, too, and while I'd like an STM-8, the 468 was about 1/3 the price.

"and my first reply comes from someone that I'm fairly sure I know. Tommy, Tommy, Tommy." "On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog." https://www.unc.edu/depts/jomc/academics/dri/idog.html Guess I's better pay attention to the poster and location! Also, if you have a zippered bag, like the one made by Ideal, you won't find tools dropping out and getting lost between jobs!

Where can I find some smaller belt attachable pouches? Touch Tone Tommy, aka T-Cubed, has a pretty sweet one that's a couple of pouches that mount on his belt, made of nylon, perfect for things like he said -- bridging clips, or whatever you need. I can't seem to find any small pouches for things like that (screws are another thing that could go in there) at any of the places he listed (Time Motion, Specialized, Sandman, Jensen, etc.)
And I've now discovered that less is better...

you can get all kinds of small pouches and attatchments from www.sandman.com I like to carry my tool belt on my shoulder for service calls. Have a bag for major work and use a bose bucket for installs. Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

Sandman had a nice smaller pouch.
I'm trying to find something almost like a smaller version of one of those packs you wear around your waist that has a zipper on the front, I think they're called butt-packs if I remember? A tourist item definetely, but something smaller than that to hold wee things. I guess I could use a framer's pouch on my belt as those are designed for nails anyhow....

I use a bag but I used to use a belt. All the techs I have worked with except Ameritech use bags. The one I have is from Home Depot, I like it because it has a built in tray for parts like screws, beanies, etc. Bucket Boss makes a datacomm pouch as well as many other pouches, most made of nylon.
