Have a customer with a magix system and a phone that cannot access co lines by either pressing line key or dialing 9. The system gives error tone. I can set that phone to ring and if you call the main number it rings and you can answer the call. I have checked in programming for cos, line access but cannot make the ext dial out. Any help is appreciated.

Check under Extensions/ Restrictions to be sure that it is unrestricted.
Also check Extensions/ Account Code and be sure that the extension is not assigned there.

Go to Extensions > Lines & Trunks and see if you have any lines with Green & Red lights up. If you do and still can't access Outbound dialing follow the previous advices.

RESTRICTED UNRESTRICTED or TOLL RESTRICTED
UNRESTRICTED allows local and LD calls.
