Hi,
I have a 9100 CP10 that is expanding. Digital ports now are 1-16, IP ports are 17-23. My assumption is the IP phones will not function after installing the new 8 port digital card as the system will assign ports 17-24 to the new card. What is the best way to handle this? Do I just re-assign the IP ports before installing the new card? My guess is no need to enter programming at each IP phone itself. Doubt it matters but the IP phones are connected via a vpn now.

If you have IP phones working on the ports you described they will not be affected when you slot the digital blade.
The only question is what the system is licensed for, basic CP10 was 48 ports

Thanks Dan. I already added the appropriate resource licenses.

We always start with port 100 for IP phones. Doesn't interfere with the physical ports that way.

This was literally our 1st 9100 install with IP phones. If there is a next time I will space out the IP ports.....
