I have gotten stuck with a DK 40i that is acting up.
I was asked to add a new station to it which should have been straight forward, but wasn’t.
While I was getting ready to punch down the new cross-connect it lost all power. Turns out the power strip it was plugged into went bad. So I moved its power plug to an available outlet and the AC power light turned on. The DC light blinked on and the went. Troubleshooting showed the KSTU2 card was cause the DC to go off, I removed it and the unit powered back up fully.
I have a refurbished KSTU2 on the way, but now the digital phone are not picking up an incoming call automatically when the handset is picked up like it was before.
The are also complaining the the VM isn’t working when the dial the 877-xxx-xxx number which only says they can’t reach that number at this time. I have a feeling this is an external VM issue.
The DK 40i only has 5 digital stations in use and 1 cordless phone which is connected to one of the ports on the KSTU2.
Any ideas of where I should look?

I am making a few guesses but perhaps the voicemail was connected to the KSTU card. Maybe there was an auto attendant that was answering first.
