I wonder what the maximum ringer load is in a Cisco ATA 191 or 192 is? All I could find so far, from Cisco's site is 'Maximum ringer load: 3 Ringer Equivalence Numbers (RENs)'. Could that mean 3.0? I don't have a typical analog phone with a mechanical bell to reference at the moment (have plenty at home) but if I recall correctly, the typical REN of such a phone was around 1.0. I looked at a couple of analog phones with electronic ringers at work, couldn't find anything on the labels.
A phone with an electronic ringer would typically be less than a mechanical one.

I'm looking to bridge 3 or 4 phones with electronic ringers on an ATA.

Electronic ringers typically rate at .5 REN. Most ATAs typically max out at 5 REN. You should be fine.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
