Gary, the cfwd button doesn't work for that.

one " option " that i can think of would be to setup a speed dial bin for the cell phone and then transfer the live call to the speed bin ( put a button on the phone )

North of Philly.
Thanks for your help, Seems this does not work for me. The speed dial # must have a 9 before the #. That then searches for a idle co line on the phone system not the line i want to transfer to a cell phone..
Gary S. how do you spell retirement haha.

ok Gary, i sort of remember talking here about a system you had set up for a customer that didn't want to
dial 9 to get dial tone. and I also remember telling you that certain features of the phone system would be affected doing that. I believe this is one of them.

program 3-4-0 Outside dial tone preference..... try turning it off ( just on the operator's phone( as a Test ))

let me know if that works

Brian.
Ext 100 is set for 3-4-0. But transfers to sped dial button picks up line 4 and does not transfer the live call to a cell phone.
Thinks like this are a challenge with trying to keep a customer happy.
thanks gary s

Any call forward situation you want to try will require a second line. One line into the phone system, one line out of the phone system UNLESS you have Centrex service on your incoming lines. If you don't want to tie up a second line, you'll need the 'transferring' to take place at the CO, not in your system.

If Centrex is enabled, to transfer the call, the user wold need to active a short hook-flash, dial the cell number, then wait to hear a ring at the fr end. Hang up the phone and the call transfers.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
