I have a free (personal) account with Team Viewer that has me blocked. I really only use it when I'm away from home to reach my home PC for using the modem. I'm in the hospital and they have decided that I need to confirm my device by responding to an e-mail, but that e-mail never comes. Not in my junk, nowhere. Their support people aren't interested in talking to anyone but $600 per year paid customers. They refer me to their support community, which also requires my login, password and device confirmation, yet another e-mail that never comes.
I have tried to send them a general e-mail in their comments field, but again, no response. I'm willing to try changing to another e-mail address if that will make them feel better, but you guessed it: I have to log into my account to do that. NOW they are blocking me because of my numerous attempts to connect to my home PC made them think I'm using it for commercial use. I'm totally stuck. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear you're stuck in the hospital 😯
Team Viewer proved to be way too much of a pain for me about 10 years ago. I've used a few different ones since then but AnyDesk is what seems to work well these days. However, unless someone can go to your house and get it running on that end you'll be out of luck.
I'm not sure what you can do about the Team Viewer emails either...

Yep, Team Viewer requires an account login on the free side as well, they seam to want to monitor your usage. I do have the cheap version and it's a pain, I also like AnyDesk and may move my remote access to that platform in the near future . Get well soon Ed and if you need help on Panasonic equipment just give me a call, hopefully you still have my number.

I'm glad I'm not alone in my quest. It looks like I got my cleaning lady to do the minor programming change for me tomorrow. Pretty sad, huh? I'm just thankful that she's willing to do it for me.
