2 weeks ago i replaced a defective sts for a new customer. The orginal installer retired.. customer choose to replace ksu rasther then a new system, which is common in my area. Anyhow, i replaced ksu with a refurbished HEB ksu. 2 weeks later customer called "no syn" Went on site defaulted,switch 8 system came back up. reprogram and tested. Then power down and power back up. System held program. This is the first system i had in the past 30 years that went down after a short period of time. I told customer is this happens again i will replace cabinet. Yep at my expense as part of warrany and short time since install, but that is business. Should i just pass this off as a unique glitch, ??? thanks Gary S.
