does anyone have a source for this file? it doesn't appear to be on my win 7 system disc.

A Google search lead me to a link in a forum, that lead for a comment from a different forum that lead to a third forum with a possible answer: Check out the answer posted by cousinit99 https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ce-driver-missing.1247524/#post-20229038Seem like just have Device Manager search for the appropriate driver would work.

thank you. device manager search fails to find the file, unless i'm not searching for the correct file or keyword.

I'm aiming you've got an "unique device" showing in device manager. If you double click on that device, from the details tab you can find the device id. Google that usually find the driver
